2026

Software startup for marketplace sellers. Three months of RAG integration, quality evaluation of AI answers and architecture for automated document processing.

Takeaway: an AI answer without a source is worthless. That is why Klarbeleg always shows the source.

2023 to 2025

MSNP, Oldenburg. XR and full-stack development: drone and LiDAR data turned into 3D models for real estate clients.

Takeaway: data pipelines that run in production, not just in the demo.

2023

Institute for Innovation and Information Management, Werder (Havel). IT project manager: introducing VR and AR in small businesses, plus an AI tool for analysing social media data.

Takeaway: how a ten-person business makes decisions, and that technology only counts there if it runs on Monday morning.

2015 to 2025

Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences.Ten years teaching XR and multimedia, before that leading the ESF-funded "WissensChecks" projects: a learning platform built with Node.js, Angular and MongoDB.

Takeaway: preparing knowledge so others can use it without me, and documenting funded projects properly.

Education

Computer Science (B.Sc.) and Digital Media (M.Sc.) at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, AI Engineering at Masterschool, 2025 to 2026.

Publicly visible work: Bringshops (corporate identity, landing page, shop system design) and cima-immobilien.de (web design, animations, SEO and hosting as a complete project).

How do I work?

Direct and honest: you get a clear statement instead of a polished pitch, even when the answer is “this won't pay off for you”.

No handovers

Sales, project management and development simply aren't split up on my end. Whoever talks to me talks to the person who then also writes the code, tests it and runs it afterwards. That shortens the path and avoids the “a colleague handles that” runaround.

An honest assessment before it costs money

If I think an idea won't pay off, I tell you beforehand. That isn't a marketing line, it is the basis of every intro call: an honest assessment is worth more than a contract that doesn't work out afterwards.

Also mid-project

If it turns out along the way that a piece of it isn't paying off, I say so, instead of quietly building it out further.

What do I build with?

With open tools your IT lead knows and can check before signing off.

Languages and tools

TypeScript and Node.js for applications, Python for document processing and validation scripts. Text recognition locally with Tesseract, output as PDF/A with a text layer.

Language models

Open models such as Mistral, Llama or Qwen, run at a German provider in Berlin, or locally on your premises if you prefer. Every answer points to the passage it comes from. No training on your data.

Operations

Docker containers on servers at Hetzner in Germany or on your own hardware. Encrypted transfer, daily backups, updates by me. Access for your team only.

Where am I based?

In Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, reachable from there for businesses in the region and across the country.

An intro call only needs video or phone, wherever you are. On-site appointments in Brandenburg an der Havel, Potsdam and Berlin come with no travel costs, for a scanning day just as much as for training. Other locations by arrangement.
